Rich Aroma, Deep Flavor

The aroma alone filled the entire kitchen before the first cup was even poured. It has a deep, enveloping scent that lets you know it’s going to be bold. Once brewed, the taste is rich and dark with a smooth chocolate tone. There’s a subtle truffle note, but it isn’t overpowering or overly sweet. The grounds are fine and consistent, and a little truly goes a long way. It brews strong without tasting burnt or harsh. For anyone who prefers a darker profile with a smooth finish, this one delivers a satisfying cup.

Smooth and pleasantly flavored chocolate truffle coffee

I tried this Gold Coffee Chocolate Truffle coffee, and it was a really nice brew. The 100% Arabica beans make it very smooth from the first sip, no bitterness or harsh aftertaste, just a gentle, easy-drinking cup. The chocolate truffle flavor is pleasant and subtle, without overwhelming the coffee itself.I used it in my drip maker, came out rich and aromatic. It's not too bold, so it's perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up or when I want something flavored but not artificial-tasting.

Tastes and smells fantastic!

Delicious coffee. The chocolate truffle flavor is subtle, but recognizable and adds nice notes of flavor to the bold coffee taste. The smell opening the bag is absolutely divine. It’s obvious that the beans were fresh before they were finely ground and placed into the bag. Apparently also has a great shelf life for almost 1 year, though it’s not gonna last anywhere near that long. Should last me a few weeks though since I’m making it by the cup and not the pot each morning.Overall for the price (currently listed at $12), you get some delicious coffee that tastes great even without any added sweeteners/creamers.

Very good coffee

I'm not sure if I'm just being fooled on the packaging or the name in the listing, but this coffee really does come off as premium coffee. I am by no means a coffee snob nor do I get picky with the roast itself because no matter what type of coffee it is, I'm going to put cream and syrup in it regardless. With that being said, I tried this coffee in a 6oz cup with a concentrated batch from my k-cup insert and I was WIRED all night. That is the one thing about this coffee that stood out to me if nothing else. It will definitely keep you up if you drink it too late in the day!The aroma was really nice before and after brewing. The ground is finely grated and is easy to fill my coffee pods up with. The flavor itself is really good and while I did put cream and sugar in it, I do still really like the underlying coffee taste from the chocolate and truffle undertones. I didn't overdo it on the additions because I wanted to know what the coffee itself tasted like and I was not disappointed by my decision there.Overall, give it a shot!

Delicious coffee with a unique flavor

This coffee really surprised me. The aroma is amazing as soon as you open the bag, and once it’s brewed the flavor is even better. It’s very well balanced, with a smooth chocolate note that makes it feel a little different from regular coffee in a really good way.I enjoy trying different coffees and this one definitely made it onto my list of favorites. The flavor is truly wonderful, rich and smooth, without being overly sweet or overwhelming. It has a nice full body but is still very easy to drink every day.I brewed it in my coffee maker and the result was excellent, very aromatic, flavorful, and with a really pleasant finish. Honestly, I had never tried a flavor profile quite like this before and I really enjoyed the experience.I recommend it for anyone who enjoys aromatic coffee with a hint of chocolate and a distinctive flavor.

Rich, chocolatey flavor

This coffee smells SO delicious. It is very smooth and the chocolate flavor is very present and forward. This is also much less like hot chocolate coffee and more like picking up a decadent chocolate truffle candy and making it into a coffee. If you LOVE chocolate truffles, you need to try this coffee. If you're like me and you'd prefer something a little less rich, I'd pass on this one and choose something different. Don't get me wrong, it's a good coffee, but it's also not something I want to drink all the time as I need something a little less chocolate rich.

Pretty good

This is a pretty decent coffee actually, I feel like I've had this brand in the past but I can't figure out where. The ground comes in a medium grind maybe a bit rough kinda perfect for drip coffee. I do prefer light to medium roasts and stay away from dark roasts typically because I don't care for burnt tastes... This one doesn't have any burnt flavor which I like. It's advertised to have a chocolate undertone and it definitely does and in a nice way... It does not taste like it's been artificially flavored which is also another huge bonus for me. This coffee is perfectly good as is, I think as a black coffee I would drink it but I do prefer a bit of cream. I do like this with just cream, and with vanilla flavored cream I noticed the chocolate flavor stand out a little bit more. It's got a nice undertone of chocolate though, I am happy to have tried this. I don't know where I've seen this brand before but I know I have. I'm pretty happy with this though. The price is about on par with other brands, the flavor is nice and makes me think the price isn't too bad for this. I may circle back to this brand in the future!

Nice quality flavored coffee

Dark, sweet, with a rich texture and real chocolate taste. This coffee is pre-ground and has a very dark color and a dark roast aroma with sweet chocolate on top. I brewed 2 scoops of these dark colored grinds with 12 ounces of water using a pour over cone. The coffee came out strong and had a sweet mocha scent. I added about two thirds of a cup of frothed milk and the flavor was nice. There's a good quality coffee flavor and a natural tasting chocolate accent. This is a high quality flavored coffee which would be good for breakfast and dessert.

Unique flavor

If you love coffee and you love chocolate then this coffee is for you! The smell is enticing and draws you in and the taste is just the same! I love the blend of coffee, it mixes sweet flavors with the smooth coffee. The grounds are fresh and the package is sealed tightly. For a unique flavor, the pricing is great.

Easy to brew

This pre ground coffee is very convenient to brew and has a smooth taste, but unfortunately it doesn’t suit my palate.

Good flavor and a great option for group trips

I don’t usually go for pre-ground coffee, but I picked this up for a group trip and it actually worked out really well. It’s super convenient when you don’t want to deal with grinding beans or bringing extra equipment. The flavor is solid, you definitely get that chocolatey note, and it’s smooth without being overly sweet or artificial tasting. It’s not the most complex coffee ever, but it’s enjoyable and easy to drink, especially for a group where everyone has different preferences. It brewed consistently and didn’t taste bitter, which I was a little worried about with pre-ground coffee. It held up well whether we made a full pot or smaller batches. Overall, this is a good, reliable option if you need something convenient for travel, guests, or a group setting. Not something I’d replace my usual setup with, but for what it is, it does the job really well.

Smooth, lighter medium roast with subtle chocolate flavor

I tried this coffee out as regular hot coffee, iced coffee, lattes, and espresso, and really enjoyed it in every form. I could taste the chocolate truffle flavor, but it was subtle and not overpowering. I would describe the flavor as cocoa moreso than chocolate. I don't like overly sweet flavors, but this was a nice balance with the flavor of the coffee itself. I would say this coffee is a lighter-end medium roast, with a robust, smooth flavor, not harsh or too acidic.I think the price is reasonable for the quality and taste. It was delivered with all the excess air removed from the bag, which was vacuum sealed and flattened. The grounds retained their freshness really well this way, and there's almost a year until the best buy date on the bag from the time I received it (though it only lasted me a couple of weeks!). Note that the bag doesn't come with any way to close or reseal it after opening, so make sure to have another airtight container you can transfer the grounds into after opening.

A good cup of coffee

This roast is on the lighter end of medium. I see the bag has a 6-bean rating system, so if we assume two beans for each strength of coffee, this roast is a 2.5 bean strength, which means they also rated it as the lowest level medium roast they have. So know that if you like a bold coffee. It's smooth and I can taste the chocolate. The truffle flavor is hidden but I bet it serves it's purpose here by adding depth, and pushing the coffee into that medium category. I like this. I would say it's an average or typical coffee you'd find at a place like Home Goods. You know how they have higher ends than like your generic grocery store brands, but not costly enough or bowl-you-over flavorful enough for them to be considered high end coffees. I like it, I don't think you'll be disappointed in it, but I don't think it'll become your favorite coffee either just because of it's average-ness. Still a good cup of coffee though!

Smooth and mild taste

This finely ground coffee comes in well sealed bag with a rich, enticing smell. The chocolate truffle flavor is mild, allowing the coffee to shine with just a hint of something extra. The blend is smooth and well rounded, with subtle hints of chocolate that are thankfully not bitter or tart.Dressing this coffee up with creamers or sweeteners can enhance the chocolate notes and turn the cup into a decadent treat, while enjoying it black adds just a bit of oomph to my morning routine. I'd definitely buy this one again!

Perfect Balance of Coffee and Chocolate Flavor

Had a friend who brewed this at his home and I liked it so much I had to get some for myself. The hint of chocolate is just enough to give the coffee flavor but not be too overpowering. I use it in my French press and do not notice any excessive residue in my coffee cup when I get down to the bottom. Instead of using a flavored creamer, I use a little half/half or heavy whipping cream (whatever's in the fridge at the time) and it's a perfect blend. Will definitely keep this around.

Chocolate Fudge Brownie Vibes in a Mug

I’m not a coffee connoisseur. I like strong, dark roast coffee that I can toss into my Keurig and drown in Italian Sweet Cream creamer until it becomes dessert in a cup. I'm specific about my coffee, but not at all refined with it.I've never been a fan of coffees with chocolate notes before because they usually taste artificial or strange to me. This one surprised me in the best way, though. The aroma alone is incredible, it genuinely smells like homemade fudge brownies and strong coffee. The flavor is smooth, rich, and chocolatey without tasting fake or syrupy. It still tastes like real coffee, just with this warm, indulgent truffle undertone.I brew it straight in my Keurig and add my usual creamer, and it's phenomenal.Everyone in my house commented on how good it smells and tastes, which never happens because we all like different coffees. If you like your coffee bold but also want that cozy dessert vibe, this one is amazing. I want to stock up on this and try the other flavors now.

Amazing smelling coffee

I want to live in this coffee. The smell is just incredible! I am not really very good at pointing out specific scent notes, but I can easily pick up the chocolate and the toasted sugar. It is amazing.Taste wise, I pretty much only make cold brew anymore, mostly because I just love cold coffee, and this one turns out pretty good as a cold brew. It is smooth and clean. If you are going to use it for cold brew though, since it is a fine grind, you will probably have to run it through a paper filter or some other fine filter. In my cold brew, the chocolate flavor is extremely subtle, and I do not really get the toasted sugar at all. That is to be expected though, since I probably filtered out most of the oils that were giving it that flavor.Price wise, it is pretty reasonable for a high quality coffee, so no complaints there.Overall yeah, it is just a fantastic, amazing smelling coffee, and I absolutely love the taste. I do not have a single complaint.

Smooth, Rich Coffee with a Subtle Chocolate Truffle Note

This chocolate truffle flavored coffee turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The aroma of the grounds is rich and inviting, with a chocolate scent that smells natural rather than overly sweet. Once brewed, the scent is lighter, but the flavor in the cup is smooth and balanced. The chocolate note is subtle, which works well because it still tastes like real coffee rather than a flavored drink. The grind is consistent, and it brews well in a standard drip machine. I usually prefer strong, bold coffee, and this still fits my taste. It has a full flavor without bitterness, and the chocolate truffle profile adds a gentle richness without overwhelming the coffee itself. I have been drinking it black, even though I often add creamers or syrups to other blends, and it holds up well on its own.The overall experience feels like a small upgrade to a morning routine without turning into a dessert-style drink. It is smooth, flavorful, and easy to enjoy whether you prefer your coffee bold or lightly flavored.I am glad I tried this one, and it has been a delicious addition to my rotation.
