I had high expectations for this one with them noting smooth hazelnut and caramel flavors, which are two of my favorites. This coffee has a very strong burned smell and grinding it up made the worst smell of any I have ever ground. I usually do coldbrew which really brings out the flavor, for better or worse. The taste is bitter and takes twice as much sugar and milk as others to drown out those harsh bitter flavors. I don't get hazelnut or caramel and it almost smells like undertones of a dirty ashtray. It tastes like a low quality lighter flavored bean they burned to add depth to make it taste darker. I don't like it at all.
This coffee blend is very smooth and quite enjoyable. The beans were fresh and they smell fantastic. I would absolutely get this Brunella blend again!

What a wonderful, clean, and perfectly blended coffee.I'm not usually one to grind my own beans, but with this particular blend I am a believer!You can absolutely tell that these are an incredibly clean and carefully curated blend.I would definitely consider it a true medium roast. I used my typical measurements without needing to subtract or add any.2 cups in the morning, one cup in the afternoon… And this is perfection for that.For yourself or if you know somebody that loves a good coffee and appreciates trying different ones, this would be an excellent gift.10 out of 10
This is a whole bean coffee that you will have to grind yourself. It is a bit darker than most medium roasts I've had, but it has a smooth, dark taste that is not burnt or bitter. I definitely get the notes of chocolate and these beans brew a cup that I can actually enjoy drinking black.
