I’m usually a strictly black coffee person, so I wasn't sure if I would actually like a flavored roast like this Crème Brulee. At the very first sip, I wasn't totally sold on the sweetness, but as I kept drinking it, I actually started to really enjoy it. The vanilla and toffee notes are present but not overwhelming, and the 100% Arabica beans still provide a good, smooth coffee base. It’s a nice change of pace when I want something a little different from my usual cup. It ended up being a very pleasant surprise.
I got this coffee because I love a sweeter brew in the morning. Out of the bag, the aroma is amazing and you can smell the vanilla and toffee notes. It brews smoothly and the flavor is perfectly balanced with a nice touch of roasted almond at the end. It is not overly sweet but has a rich splash of cream. I look forward to my morning cup every day now.
I have been drinking this coffee in the morning using a drip machine and it has a smooth and mild flavor. The crème brulee taste comes through with a mix of vanilla and a light sweet note that is not overpowering. It smells great while brewing and makes the kitchen feel warm. The grind works well in my machine and does not clog or brew unevenly. I usually have one or two cups a day and it stays consistent each time. It is not too strong, so it is easy to drink without needing a lot of sugar or cream. If you like bold coffee, this might feel a bit light, but it works well for a smoother option. For the flavor and quality, it feels like a fair value and a nice change from regular coffee.
I typically prefer bold or dark coffee because sometimes I find medium roast to be a little bland for me. I was pleasantly surprised by this Creme Brulee flavored coffee. It had lots of flavor where there is a noticeable slightly burnt caramel flavor, but still allowing the taste of the coffee to shine though. The coffee is smooth, mellow and non acidic, but plenty strong and flavorful. I've been drinking it every morning for the last couple of weeks and it's a satisfying cup of coffee that's easy on my stomach. Highly recommended if you enjoy caramel/vanilla flavored coffees.
Cream Brulee is a medium roast that smells amazing while brewing. The aroma alone makes the kitchen smell like a cafe, and even the dry grounds have a really nice scent before you start the pot.The flavor is well balanced and not overly rich like some dark roasts. It has a smooth taste with a light sweetness that fits the name without being sugary or artificial. The flavor notes blend together nicely, so nothing feels overpowering. It drinks easy and works well as an everyday cup, especially if you prefer something flavorful without the heavier intensity of darker roasts, but still a great strength and is smooth.Overall, it is a smooth, fresh-tasting coffee with a pleasant aroma and a subtle sweetness that comes through in the flavor and good value.
I don't want to sound dramatic, but like, this is just really good coffee so I am really happy about it. I have a coffee maker that uses ground coffees, nothing too fancy other than different intensities or pours but I just always use the standard settings. I am simple like that, but I do love fun flavors and so I usually with other coffees end up adding a lot of stuff to get something pretty tasty. So, when I opened this bag and the creme brulee sweet aroma hit my senses hard I was immediately excited. It brewed well and honestly I only added a bit of simple creamer and it tasted great. It was so incredibly smooth. I did play around with some caramel flavorings since for fun and it took to them so well, too. It's a good strength, and I didn't feel any acid reflux after. It's a great value. I don't mind that the bag isn't resealable when it tastes that good. I put in a separate jar that is now already a quarter less full since my picture. I would definitely (and will very likely) get this again!
This is some great tasting coffee. Smells fantastic both before and after being brewed. The crème brûlée flavor is there, but light and not overpowering. The coffee smells and tastes fresh, and goes well with almond milk. If you drink your coffee black, I think it would taste fine without adding anything as well. The bag is standard size (12 ounces), and is equipped with a release valve for degassing. I can tell the beans were freshly roasted and grinded before bagging because the smell was still very potent when I first squeezed it before opening.Overall I think this is fantastic quality coffee and would be great if you’re a fan of flavored grounds. I’ve been enjoying it so far. Worth the $12 it was listed for when I ordered it.
First off, this coffee has an amazing aroma. I did have to empty the bag into a ziplock freezer bag after I opened it. I thought the ziplock bags were airtight, but the air around the coffee maker is still suffused with the aroma days later, so I'm enjoying that. The coffee is medium strength. It's very fresh, and it tastes lightly sweet. I did add creamer and sugar, because that's my habit, but there were no bitter notes.I think it's priced fairly, and seems like a good value at $12.
This coffee tastes great--after having had some "so-so" experiences with other coffees I've tried, it's a pleasure to recommend this one, absolutely!! Not arrogantly sweet or perfumey, it has just the right "weekend morning" taste!!
The flavor on this Crème Brûlée coffee is really smooth. The vanilla, toffee, and sweet cream notes blend nicely and give it a light, easy taste. It brews well in my drip machine and has a pleasant smell when it starts brewing. The grind is fine so it settles evenly in the filter and makes a clean cup. The taste is on the mild side for me, so it works best as a weekend coffee when I want something lighter and a little sweet. The only drawback is the bag. There’s no resealable strip or wire fold, so I had to use a clip to keep it closed. Once sealed, it stays fresh, but a built‑in closure would make it easier. The price point is in line with what I usually pay for my coffee.
I could smell this coffee before I opened the bag and it smelled amazing. The coffee has a coarse grind which is okay for my percolator use, but not great for pour over. I haven't tried using it for cold brew yet, but the grind should work well for that. The taste is as good as the aroma. Like most flavored coffee, it has an artificial type of taste, but that's normal. The coffee brewed smooth and while I don't drink flavored coffees every day, this is still a solid coffee.
This coffee is a super mild roast and quite tasty. I brewed it with my cheap basic counter-top drip machine. The product description states, "Rich notes of smooth, buttery toffee, and sweet cream" and yeah, I found that it lives up to that description. All of those flavors are present and pleasant. My first impression was the sweetness (I don't add sugar to my coffee), so if you like your coffee strong and bitter, pass on this. Otherwise, if you actually like to enjoy your coffee I can recommend it. There's zero bitterness or aftertaste. It's priced comparable to the grocery store bulk coffee that I normally drink, so it has a similar value.
This coffee has a subtle caramel and toffee character that comes through nicely without being overly sweet or artificial. The flavor is smooth and balanced, making it easy to drink regularly without becoming tiresome. The grind size works well for standard drip brewing. It is too coarse for espresso use, even though the bag suggests trying. I tried and the results we poor, with no crema. For drip coffee drinkers and those that enjoy flavored coffee, this is a dependable option with a pleasant flavor profile and aroma.
I really enjoyed the Crème Brûlée flavor—it has a smooth, rich aroma that fills the kitchen the moment it starts brewing. The flavor strikes a great balance: the classic Crème Brûlée sweetness comes through without being overpowering, and the 100% Arabica beans give it a naturally smooth, mellow finish. The fine grind works well in both drip machines and reusable pods, and it brewed consistently every time. It’s a nice treat if you like dessert‑inspired coffees but still want something that tastes like real coffee, not syrup. The 12‑oz bag is also just the right size to stay fresh. Overall, it’s a delicious and aromatic flavored coffee that makes mornings feel a little more indulgent.
I've had this coffee with breakfast three days in a row, and I've enjoyed it. As soon as I opened the bag, the freshness was apparent. Good ground coffee, with a hint of vanilla. Since I'm the only coffee drinker in the house, this bag will last me a while. I wish it were resealable, though. I had to use a clothespin to keep the bag closed. While brewing, my kitchen smells like a coffee shop. The coffee is medium strength, but doesn't taste burnt or muddy. I brew mine in reusable pods, since I'm only making it for myself. The aroma gets me awake in the morning. Some coffees give me heartburn, but this brand hasn't caused any problems. I'm happy with it. It's a good value for the money.
This is twelve ounces of flavored ground coffee. I Ordered the creme brulee flavor. It is creamy vanilla and caramel flavored. I took it to work today to share with my coworkers. It smells fantastic while brewing. I used just a general drip coffee machine. One of my coworkers prefers iced coffee which wasn't too difficult to accomplish and iced brings out the caramel and creaminess of the vanilla. I prefer my coffee hot, it was also fantastic hot which highlighted the caramel flavor. This seems to be a medium strength coffee. I always add just a touch of salt to my coffee grounds to help cut some of the astringency. At the time of this review this coffee is just under twelve dollars which I find to be a good value for a well flavored ground coffee. The flavoring in this tastes and smells nice, without that funny alcohol component that is in some strong flavored coffee. I like this one and will likely order it again.
Pros:-Delicious-Fragrant-Good RoastCons:-Coarse Grind, not the best for pour over brewing. (I had to run it through twice to get my normal strength brew.)-Non-resealable bag, not even the old-school wire to secure the top.I got this coffee to try with low expectations, and I absolutely love it, despite its few flaws. The roast is very well done (consistent and thorough, I don't mean 'well' as in dark roast) The fragrant grounds make me excited as soon as I open the bag, and the flavor profile is amazing. My only complaints, and I still love it despite them, are that the grind is coarser than most, making it difficult to brew in my preferred method, which is pour over. A standard percolator machine and Moka pot both work very well, though. Finally, the bag is not resealable, and didn't even provide the 'old-school' stiff wire bar to keep the top closed if folded over.
I recently acquired this Gold Coffee Crème Brûlée flavored blend; and it has been a very pleasant way to start my mornings. The 100 percent Arabica beans provide a smooth; high quality base that carries the dessert inspired notes quite well without being overly acidic. During use; I found the finely ground texture to be perfect for my drip machine; resulting in a consistent brew every time. The aroma is absolutely wonderful; filling the kitchen with a sweet; toasted sugar scent that feels like a real treat. My only small critique is that the flavor is a bit more subtle than the strong aroma suggests; so I sometimes add an extra scoop to get that full richness I am looking for. Overall; the twelve ounce bag is a great size for keeping the coffee fresh; and it offers a lovely; balanced sweetness that makes my daily routine feel a bit more special.
I ordered this crème brûlée coffee mainly for my husband, who prefers sweeter coffees. We usually grind our own beans, so I would have liked the option to get it whole, but the pre-ground worked fine in our French press. My husband said it tastes like his usual Colombian roast with French vanilla creamer, which is impressive for a black coffee to have that much flavor. I tried a cup myself with cream, and it was very smooth and pleasantly sweet. The price is a little higher than our local blend, but we’d save on creamer, so it balances out nicely.Price at time of review: $11.99
